Explanation of the project
To realize this project, we were a group of 5 students. The goal of this project was to redesign the scooter Metropolis from Peugeot Scooter to create a scooter that could be used by repairing jobs such as electricians, plumbers...
To begin the project, we started with some previous researches: benchmarking, defining the user, defining the need of the user and realize an external functional analysis.
Then we started our design researches by each drawing 10 drawing boards or ideas we could use for our concepts and 10 drawing boards or pre-concepts.
The next step was to select the best ideas from these drawing boards to realize each of us another drawing boards of concept which would use the best ideas we got before to get a concept that would not need a lot of modifications to be realized.
The final step was to select the best concept to improve it. We were not able to select the best, so we decided to realize together the final concept by selecting the best of each concept.
At the end, we realized the Metropolis Pro Utility you can see. This scooter can be declined into 3 scooters depending on the need of the user. There is a scooter with a big trunk and a roof, another scooter with a small trunk and no roof and the last one is a scooter with a small trunk and a roof.
