Feb. 2015 - Jul. 2015

 

6-month end-of-studies internship in the company Dacor, a luxury kitchen appliances company in Los Angeles area, I worked as an industrial designer in the department of development of products.

I worked particularly on the design of the user and graphics interface of an LCD screen for their ovens.

I also designed an induction cooktop and a range hood and I improved the user and graphics interface of the controller screen of another ovens.

 

Sept. 2013 - Feb. 2014

 

6-month internship at the University of California, Berkeley in the Berkeley Robotics and Human Engineering Laboratory: I worked on a confidential project. I also modeled several pieces with the hardware Solidworks. 

 

Feb. 2011

 

​Worker internship to discover the industrial work. I worked with the service engineer in an enterprise specialized in weld.

 

 

Projects at the UTBM

 

Year 2014 - 2015

 

Industrial design: Design of an innovative mixer to make pastries and cook with induction. For this project we have to create a completely new product by starting with nothing and at the end of the semester we will have blueprints to be able to build it. (group of 4 students)

 

Advanced mechanical engineering: Study, design and modeling of wings of sailplane for a company (group of 5 students)

 

Design for all: project to design a product which would help seniors over 75 to take their medicine (group of 2 student)

 

Music: Head of a group of 3 students to create a musical. We will act, sing and make a movie of it.

 

Year 2013 - 2014

 

Industrial design: Redesign of scooter Metropolis from Peugeot Scooter to be adapted for repairing jobs like electrician, plumber, etc... We had to had new functionalities to the existing scooter Metropolis (group of 5 students)

 

 

Mechanics: Modeling and study of a chair designed by Greg Saul (group of 2 students). The goal was to define the best material and dimensions for the chair by using the hardware Abaqus.

 

Design to cost: Study of a toaster to define the real cost of a product by calculating cost of materials, production, logistic etc... (chief of project of a group of 3 students)

 

Virtual reality: Creation of virtual reality program with virtools (chief of project of a group of 3 students)

 

Year 2012 - 2013

 

CAD: Modeling a remotely control helicopter with the hardware CATIA V5 (group of 4 students)

 

Management project:  Improvement of a 3D printer, we are learning to manage a project from the beginning to the end (group of 5 students)

 

Styling: Study of a mark in group of 4 student and styling of a product we cannot find in this mark in group or two students and then alone. I am working on the mark KENZO and I have to style a guitar.

 

Ergonomics: Ergonomic study and improvement proposal for the coffee maker Rowenta Prelude Timer

 

Rapid Prototyping: Creation of a reduce Aston Martin DBR1 prototype with the hardware MAYKA (group of 6 students)
